Don't Miss Auction of Washington Wine Celebrations, August 11-13

Sip in the sunshine at the Auction of Washington Wines Winemaker Picnic & Barrel Auction at Chateau Ste. Michelle on August 12. Tickets are still available for this popular outdoor celebration, part of a full weekend of wine events from Auction of Washington wines.  Looking ahead at the 10-day forecast, Friday August 12th looks like the perfect day, with a high of 84 degrees, to sip on wine and soak in some rays at one of this summer’s most popular celebration of Washington wines in Woodinville. The open-air event will feature winemakers who will “roam and pour” tastes or offer more than 100 wines at the tasting bars. Enjoy global BBQ, featuring Korean, Indian, and southern style, as well as sweet bites. Meet, mingle, and enjoy a summer evening of Washington wine with games of chance and the opportunity to bid on cases of wine from 30 Washington Wineries in the Barrel Auction – all benefiting the industry and community. This is one of the Auction of Washington Wine’s (AWW) largest wine and culinary events, and after a two-year hiatus, the AWW team is thrilled to welcome back in-person celebrations. It’s a full weekend of wine, additional events include TOAST!  on August 11 and the Gala on August 13, both also held at Chateau Ste. Michelle.

Proceeds benefit Washington State University Viticulture & Enology Research at the Wine Science Center in Richland, Seattle Children’s Tri-Cities Clinic, and Industry Grant Partner Vital Wines.
