Celebrating Seattle's Next Seafood Stars
Popping the bubbly over here, and shucking those oysters, along with our friend and client Chef Nick Novello, who was just named one of “Seattle’s Next Seafood Stars.” Check out the latest issue of Seattle Magazine for all the details. As this local authority so aptly states, “as Seattle’s restaurant scene steps it up, a new class of seafood stars spearheads the celebration.”
Now’s the time to visit Chef Nick and the team at Pier 57, as coming up this month, “I Heart Mussels” offers a week-long celebration of all things briny and blue.
I Heart Mussels week, running from February 10 to 18, will feature a three-course menu that pays homage to these tasty fruits of the Pacific Northwest waters. Selections range from creative preparations like Cold Smoked Mussels with Tomato Jam, Roasted Garlic, Fresh Shaved Horseradish and Crispy Sourdough to winter warmers like Mussel Risotto with Charred Artichoke Hearts, Creamy Risotto, Smoked Fish Brodo, Young Garbanzo Beans, Bacon, Red Onion and Garlic.
The prixe fix menu includes choice of starter, entrée and dessert from the menu listed below for $32 per person. Come for Valentine’s Day, a long weekend or any day during I Heart Mussel Week to join the love affair.
