This June, Lifelong, in partnership with Seattle Pride, will debut the Lifelong Pride Gala: An Evening for Equality—a new black-tie fundraising event designed to celebrate community, champion equality, and support critical services for LGBTQ+ individuals across Washington.
Taking place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Sanctuary at Lotte Hotel Seattle, the inaugural gala will feature a festive cocktail hour, seated dinner, live auction, and immersive performances from Grammy Award-winning artist Macy Gray and Miz Cracker, fan favorite from RuPaul's Drag Race. The evening will be hosted by celebrity stylist and television personality Brad Goreski.
A New Tradition for Pride in Seattle
The Lifelong Pride Gala reimagines the traditional nonprofit fundraiser with a high-energy, elevated experience that reflects the vibrancy and resilience of the LGBTQ+ community. In addition to entertainment and dining, the evening will include special recognition of two honored guests for their work advancing LGBTQ+ equality.
“Lifelong was founded more than 40 years ago to fight for access and to stand up for marginalized communities,” said Lifelong CEO James Shackelford. “We’re proud to introduce the Pride Gala and create an experience that reflects the vibrancy, creativity, and resilience of our community. It will be both a celebration of the decades of progress achieved and an evening for collective renewal, acknowledging the fight for equality, access, and rights that remain ahead.”
Why it matters: More than a gala, the evening is a modern, elevated way to commemorate and support Pride in Seattle—bringing together the city’s civic, philanthropic, business, and creative leaders for a celebration to unite the Seattle community and help advance equity and inclusion.
