Join the Self-Care Challenge
As our stay home, stay healthy order continues into spring, Pacific Place renews it’s connection with the city by offering weekly live performances with local musicians (click here for the lineup), in addition to a new Self-Care Challenge, a series of themes and activities designed to provide comfort, calm and balance in a climate of crisis.
Self-Care Challenge Participants are asked to complete a self-care activity for 15 minutes during a seven-day period in the month of April, then share on social media using #pacificplaceselfcare. The goal is to create a community of inspiration and collaboration in taking care of ourselves, and ultimately those around us. There are also prizes involved for those who participate and share!
Need some ideas? Here are three from the team at ON PR:
Kate: I’m heading out of the the house early for lakeside yoga at a quiet spot by my house. Many gyms and brands are offering amazing classes for free. Seattle Refined is even offering a free daily workout hosted by some of the city’s top instructors. Follow this link for details.
Erin: a daily walk in the sun with my dog and six year old have become a ritual that’s saving my sanity. After a long day, and the stress that ensues from the lethal combination of simultaneously working and schooling from home, a goofy walk (usually in costume for one of us) gets me out of my head and resets my brain.
Kelly says a good dance session with Dance Church Go creates a community of craziness that fosters connection. Sign up and learn more at this link.
