Rasai Reveals New, Interactive, Fun-Dining Menu with Focus on Sustainability
Rasai in Fremont, known for its modern Indian cuisine, elevated flavor profile and focus on sustainability, is thrilled to debut a new enhanced fun-dining, multi-course tasting menu concept. Guests are invited to experience a five or seven course seasonal menu featuring local, sustainable ingredients and prepared with an eye towards innovation, featuring Neo-Indian cuisine and unique European plating techniques.
“This is the first modernist Indian concept that’s utterly tasting menu driven where our guests will partake in a sensory experience with reinterpreted Indian dishes with an openness towards global techniques and influences from our fun-dining Indian cuisines” says Jeet Singh, creative and concept director for Rasai, “Our passion for elevating our concept comes from sourcing seasonal ingredients that you wouldn’t traditionally associate with Desi Indian flavors, all while using a modernist touch.”
Menu highlights include playful, innovative takes on ceviche (mushroom and fish options), pulled short rib or chicken tikka tacos, halibut moilee, and dessert options that include a palate refreshing mukh-was with popcorn truffle, popping candies, fennel, anise, mint, and rock sugar.
The five-course tasting menu ($75 per person) is available throughout the week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays while the seven-course option ($90 per person) is available on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Reservations start at 5 p.m. and can be made here.
“Modern Indian cuisine has gained much wider recognition and popularity throughout the world, and we felt that Seattle is the best place to showcase the representation of this progressive style of Indian cuisine.” said Singh.
