  • Coupeville’s Chocolate Walk, February 8. Explore Coupeville’s restaurants, coffee shops, and retail shops while collecting unique chocolate treats. Check in at the Coupeville Chamber of Commerce, 905 NW Alexander Street, between 11 AM and 2 PM to receive your Chocolate Walk bag and map to find your chocolate treats.   • Greenbank Farm’s Valentine’s Market, February 8-9. Join the team at Greenbank Farm in their first Valentine’s Market this February where you can shop for handmade gifts from local artisans, participate in hands-on kids’ crafts in the Farm’s barn, and enjoy an assortment of food and refreshments. February 8th is also Greenbank Farm’s 120th birthday and they will have free slices of cake available beginning at 2:00pm until sold out.

  • Northwest Glass Quest, February 17-26. In its 16th year, the greatest treasure hunt in the Pacific Northwest is taking place in Stanwood and Camano Island!   • Snow Goose and Birding Festival on Saturday, February 22. Experience one of Western Washington’s most spectacular natural events – the annual winter gathering of thousands of Snow Geese and Trumpeter Swans. Come see why the shores and waters of the Puget Sound surrounding our community are internationally recognized as habitat for countless birds of sea, shore, and land. There will be speakers from the Audubon Society as well as a swan biologist showing presentations at Floyd Norgaard Cultural Center from 10am-2pm, and Snow Goose shuttle bus tours to Fir Island running every 30 minutes. Tickets are $10/adult, children 12 and under are free.

  • Langley Mystery Weekend, February 22-23. For fun and some good old fashioned detective work, Langley’s annual Mystery Weekend should fit the bill perfectly. Celebrating its 40th anniversary in February, you’ll scour the seaside village for clues, question some characters, and try to solve the murder over this two-day event. visitlangley.com
