Founded in 1912, family-owned Kristoferson Farm has played host to everything from dairy cows to alpacas and now, with the help of the Kristoferson family’s newest generation, it continues to grow hay, fragrance and culinary lavender and pumpkins. It’s also getting a second life as a recreation and culinary destination. The sustainably managed property covers 231 acres total, 100 of which are forested, 100 are dedicated to agriculture and the remaining property is open lake and streams. The farm’s centerpiece is a restored barn built in 1914 and listed on the national historic register. Kristoferson Farm is located at 332 NE Camano Drive, Camano Island, Washington.
